1. What is the Saudi Muqeem Arrival Registration?
The Muqeem Arrival Registration (Bawabat Muqeem) is an official border and public health entry system mandated by the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) and the Ministry of Interior of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
It serves as the digital disembarkation registration for all foreign guests arriving in Saudi Arabia across all international airports, including Jeddah (JED - King Abdulaziz International Airport), Madinah (MED - Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz Airport), Riyadh (RUH - King Khalid International Airport), and Dammam (DMM).
Consular Notice: AMG Visa is an independent visa consultancy located in Islamabad and is not an agency of the Government of Saudi Arabia. Muqeem registrations are managed directly on the official portal (`muqeem.sa`).
2. Who Must Register on Muqeem?
Every Pakistani national entering Saudi Arabia under any of the following visa categories must register: 1. Umrah Visa Holders (issued via approved Umrah operators or Nusuk). 2. Saudi Tourist Visa Holders (eVisa or consular visa). 3. Family Visit Visa & Personal Visit Visa Holders. 4. Commercial / Business Visa Holders. 5. Work Visa Holders (First Entry).
Exemptions: Saudi citizens and established Iqama resident holders who have already linked their residency status through Absher.
3. The 72-Hour Submission Window
You must complete your Muqeem registration within 72 hours before your scheduled flight departure time. - If you register earlier than 72 hours, the system will not permit flight dates beyond the 3-day threshold. - If you fail to register, your airline in Pakistan (Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, Multan) will not issue your boarding pass.
4. Step-by-Step Muqeem Registration Procedure
Step 1: Access the Official Muqeem Portal
Navigate to `muqeem.sa/#/visa-registration/guest`. Do not use paid third-party proxy sites.
Step 2: Select Your Visitor Category
Choose the appropriate registration stream: - Vaccinated Visitor: Travelers with recognized vaccination records. - Unvaccinated Visitor: Travelers who do not meet the full vaccination booster criteria. - Treatment / Medical Visitor: Patients traveling for specialized healthcare.
Step 3: Enter Visa & Passport Particulars
- Visa Number: Enter the 10-digit Saudi visa number printed on your electronic visa document.
- Passport Number: Enter your Pakistani passport number exactly as printed.
- Click "Verify" — the system will automatically query the Saudi MOFA database and fetch your full name, nationality, and visa validity!
Step 4: Travel & Flight Information
- Arrival Date and Scheduled Time
- Port of Entry: Select your arrival airport (Jeddah, Madinah, Riyadh, Dammam, etc.)
- Arriving Flight Number (e.g., SV723, PK759, XY318)
- Airline Company Name
Step 5: Submission and Registration Slip Download
Click Submit. The system generates a registration confirmation document containing: - Unique Registration Number - Traveler Full Name and Nationality - QR Code for border verification - Flight and Port Details
Print at least two paper copies of this registration slip. Keep one with your passport and one in your hand luggage.
5. Arrival Formalities at Jeddah and Madinah Airports
Upon landing in Saudi Arabia: 1. Proceed through the dedicated international or Umrah arrival terminals. 2. Present your passport, printed visa, and Muqeem confirmation slip at the Jawazat (Passport Control) counter. 3. Provide your biometric finger scans and iris photo. 4. The Jawazat officer will stamp your passport and write your 10-digit Border Number (Raqam Al-Hudood) on the visa page. Keep this number safe, as it is needed to activate local mobile SIM cards and register on the Nusuk app for Rawdah appointments.
